Website scripts are lines of code that are executed by the website server so that you can see the webpage. These scripts make it easy for people to use a variety of computers with a variety of Operating Systems and Internet Browsers to see the website and webpages that are hosted on the website server. These scripts are executed on the host server and so it does not matter if you are using the same Operating System on your computer that the host server is using.

There are a variety of scripts that are used to display webpages. You may have heard of HTML, because it is the most common, but there are many others as well. The scripts used Depends on the operating system of the host server and the type of handlers the server has installed. I will not get into the acronyms for all of the script types, because there are too many and you probably will not know them any way. One of the more common types is PHP. PHP is usually run on Linux OS based servers, and provides a way to create dynamic webpages that can change content based on a database or embedded content.

Scripts are used to display embedded videos, animated photos, play embedded audio, and many more functions. Scripts can show the current date and time at the server, or can be adjusted to show the time where the visitor is located. Scripts can be used to count the number of visitors to your webpage.

If you want to create your own website, then you must learn what scripts are and how to use them. It is possible to get scripts that someone else has created and use them for your website, but you must learn how to install them. In some cases you must also make some changes to the scripts, so that they will work on your website and function they way they were intended to function. You may also need to setup a database for the scripts to access and manipulate. You may not even know what a database is, so how can you set one up?

If you are like I was when I first started out, then all of this may seem overwhelming and you may not even know where to turn for help. I struggled for many months trying to figure out what to do and how to do it. I am willing to share what I have learned with you, so that you do not have to spend months groping in the dark trying to make sense of all of this. I am putting together a huge step by step guide to walk you through the process of creating a working website from scratch. I am also including a great resource that will help you find the tools you need to create and build your website.

This guide will be available in the next two weeks. I have not set a date yet, because I am still putting the polishing touches to make sure this guide and the accompanying resources are the best that I can offer. I will be sharing more information with you through this blog. My next post will be on Monday June 2

I hope that you find success in all your business ventures.
