More Ways To Make Money Online Without a Website
There are many ways to make money online without a website. Let me say that this is not the best approach to online marketing though. It is very difficult to build an opt-in list without a website, so you will need to come up with some constructive ways to bring traffic to the online resources you use. With a list you could always promote products and Affiliate Programs through messages to your list or through your newsletter. Most Internet Marketers will tell you that the money is in the list. Building a list will actually make online marketing much easier and more economical. You pay with money or with your time to get a visitor to your promotion, if you capture their name and email, then you do not have to pay again to promote to that person.
The suggestions below will help someone just starting out that does not have a lot of money to set-up a website or promote it. Like anything else in life you get out of it what you put into it. If you put forth some effort, then you will find more success in whichever business model you choose.
Squidoo
You may not have heard of Squidoo, but this website will host single webpages for you called lenses. Each lens can contain text, video, comments from readers, and RSS feeds from other websites. You can use your imagination and create all sorts of lenses on topics that will bring people to your pages from the search engine in the Squidoo community as well as from the off site search engines. Squiddo allows you to put active links in the body of the contents as well as in your bio and signature files.
Squidoo also has a built in money making plan included on the webpages. They use Google AdSense, Amazon and other Affilate programs to promote other people’s products and services. Squidoo will give you a percentage of the money made from your lens(es).
eBay
Most people have heard of this website. It is the largest auction website on the Internet and has more money transactions then some of the largest banks. This method will require some money to set-up the auctions and eBay takes a percentage of the sales also. Note that if you use PayPal for payment processing, they also take a percentage of the sale.
You can sell items that you have laying around your home or garage. You could find items to sell at your local yard sales, garage sales, flea markets and auctions. You need to have a good eye for what is in good shape and will sell on eBay. You will also need a digital camera to take pictures of the product(s) that you wish to sell. There are other posts in my Blog about startegies to use for the best returns on eBay so you can use the search box at the top of the page to check out more information about eBay.
People often overlook this avenue of Internet Marketing. Every email that you send out should have a short message and an active link to one of the Affiliate Programs, products or services that you are promoting through other methods. This can be placed after your signature or you could set it up through your email client to use a signature file. Once you set up the signature file, then it can be included with every email sent.
You need to be careful promoting through the emails sent through your employers email service. Doing so could get you fired. But you could send the promotions through emails that you send to workmates from your personal email account. You know how everyone likes to forward jokes and other things they get through the email. Copy and paste the contents in a new email and include your promotion signature. Send this to friends and family. They will likely forward these things to others without cutting and pasting, so your signature will be seen by everyone else that receives that email. As you build a list of people to email messages to, then this can produce even better results.
I wish you success in all your legitimate business ventures and in your every day life too!
Sincerely,
Jim Van Dyke
