Getting traffic to your website could be the single most important key to success in Internet Marketing. There are many ways to get traffic to your website. Today we shall consider Traffic Exchanges. When you use a Traffic Exchange do not link to an Affiliate Program or product directly. Send all traffic to a squeezepage, so you can capture opt-ins for your list. Then you can direct the visitor to an Affiliate Link after the opt-in. More importantly you will have that person on your list and can promote any Affiliate Program or products through occasional email messages.

This is the very first Traffic Exchange that I started using. You can sign up for free, but there are a few reasons to upgrade to a paid membership. Traffic Swarm has one upgrade called Pro Membership, which gives you 2500 extra points every month. You also get a higher surf ratio and it requires less credits to show your website. There are more benefits to upgrading that are listed on the website.

This Traffic Exchange is very popular and you will see more then just a few of the top Internet Marketers’ websites being promoted on Traffic Swarm. You have nothing to lose by trying this Traffic Exchange for yourself. If you decide to use the free membership, then expect to do some surfing every day to get credits. I suggest trying out a Traffic Exchange for a month and see what your results are. You will see a higher number of visitors to your website and you should see some conversions. A conversion is when a visitor opts in to your list or makes a purchase.

Dragon Surf

This Traffic Exchange is fun to use, because there is a surfing game. After you surf 20 websites, then you get to choose one cave from three. If you choose the right one, then you receive extra credits. If you choose the wrong one then you are dragon food. Dragon Surf has two upgrade levels. Silver Dragon and Gold Dragon, each upgrade gives you more credits every month. By upgrading you also get a higher surf ratio, which means that you surf less for more traffic to your website. Hit Hippie

This is another fun Traffic Exchange. Hit Hippie has a 1960′s theme and is free to join. You can upgrade to a Gold Membership by surfing 50 websites. After reaching Gold Membership, then you get 250 credits every month and a higher surf ratio. You also get bonus credits while surfing and the more you surf per day gives you a better surf ratio the next day. You will also get bonuses for being in the top ten surfers of the day, week and month.

You can choose to use the free membership and you will have nothing to loose by trying out this Traffic Exchange. You will need to surf for credits, but the surfing is a little more exciting because of the extra bonuses.

Hit Safari

This is another fun Traffic Exchange. Hit Safari has an African Safari theme and is free to join. There are two upgrade levels. PRO Member and PRO2 Member, and each gives monthly credits and a higher surf ratio. There are more benefits to upgrading that can be seen on the website. Hit Safari also has a surf game, and after so many websites surfed you will see a bonus screen. Click on the link and claim your prize of extra credits.

Traffic-Splash

This is another fun theme Traffic Exchange. Traffic-Splash is free to join and has a dolphin theme. My wife and I enjoy watching dolphins and even had an experience where we swam with a dolphin, so this theme especially appeals to us. There are two upgrade levels. Special Membership and PRO Membership, each gives monthly credits and higher surf ratio. There are more benefits that can be seen on the website. There are bonus games that run occasionally and you can claim cash prizes, etc.
