I have basic programming knowledge in PHP so what other technologies should I learn other then PHP or together with PHP so that will benefit to me and also those might be needed in future.

I have a website that has 2 forms, 1 for my menu and 1 for everything else. The 1st form is a flash swf and the 2nd form is(will be) a css html file.
How can I use flash to open a specific html in the 2nd form?

I need make a web page that you are able to click browse and then click upload to upload specific file types onto my ftp server. The page needs to be kind of like rapidshare.com. I have no clue where to even look to find out how this would be done or what type of programming it will involve besides html(maybe php, etc.). Please let me know what i would need to do to be able to make this happen. Thanks.
