I’m building a web site with the material that I learned in college. With the material that I learned from my professor, all of my web pages stay on the left side of the screen.
With css and/or html, how can I get all of my material to be positioned in the center of any web browser?

Depends. The engineering type like me prefer to write the code directly, using software ranging from Pico and Vi editor (Linux) to Notepad++ and HomeSite (Windows). Those who prefer more creative control and less focus on the code itself usually go with Dreamweaver. For the best of the two world, I recommend Kompozer ( http://www.kompozer.net ), which is free.
